For more than 15 hears Julie has provided an absolutely incredible experience at the Downtown Salon. She goes above and beyond and is so attentive and truly understands what I need to be confident and look my best. Julie truly is an expert in both my color and my haircut is flawless. Throughout the years, I've received countless compliments and I've referred Julie to both friends and people who ask me where I go to get my hair cut. We took our son to three different barbers before coming to Downton Salon, and each experience was pretty disappointing. He left every chair unhappy and frustrated, until today. Scott was absolutely amazing. He listened carefully to what our son wanted, took a more conservative approach to make sure he felt comfortable, and checked in throughout the cut. For the first time in a long time, our son walked out smiling and said, “That’s my barber.” Thank you, Scott, for such a wonderful experience, and thank you to everyone at Downton Salon for being so warm and welcoming. We’re incredibly grateful and will definitely be coming back! Here are some before and after I took.

My first time here and the experience was wonderful! The ladies at the front desk were so nice and attentive. Scott was my stylist and did an amazing job with roots touch up, cut, blow dry, style. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. I was offered my beverage of choice to start and also got a scalp massage. The owner came through and quickly introduced herself to me and even offered to top off my cup of hot tea. She was very kind, cordial and made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend Downtown Salon in Fredericksburg, Va.!! I’ll definitely be back. 🫶🏼💕
